I don't want to start a hatred here, but I just want to express my observation to this premiere state university that they are projecting right now. Premium tuition rates, expensive than middle class private schools in the Philippines, so many youth needs to force themselves to transfer to other school that their parents can pay. It's sad to know that learning and having a degree costs too much in a public school that government and taxpayer paid for, is this a mission of selfish group who wants to hold and protect their pride and grandiosity over their fellow countrymen? Well, everyone can really study in UP if you show them your “money” and pay for their premium tuition fees same to those exclusive catholic colleges and universities in the Philippines, it's just a name and popularity game that is going on in the education system in the Philippines and it's one of the reason why we can't get out of this corruption infested system.

Edx free programming course

This one is free for all! With or without knowledge in computers might enjoy this, like me who does not have a foundation in programming will like this to be a start-up. It will start in Januar 1, 2014 so better sign up quickly if you would like to learn new idea and knowledge about computer programming. The pre-requisite is none so it will be friendly to us without knowledge in programming language.

Learning computer programming is like freedom of how would you like your computer behaves, you are the master of your chip slave and not the slave of others commands. While I have difficulty learning how to program, reading many open source codes can help you understand how computer will do if those codes where activated. Open source also helps the world move fast in everyday computing, it's collaboration and openness makes it easier to solve and make projects possible. I really wanted to contribute to this idea but since I still don't have that master programming skills so in support with them I used them everyday and promote them to all of my friends and family. That's the least thing I can do for now to the open source community.

Class will starts in February 14, 2014, I have no background in engineering, electronics and robotics in college so I would like to get some free classes in this field of my interest. Everyone is free to join the class at edx.org there you will find open source as in free lectures from respected and well known professors around the globe. My interests in electronics and robotics will somehow strengthened by these kind of free lectures.

They will be focusing mobile robotics locomotion and kinematics, environment perception, probabilistic map based localization and mapping, and motion planning. Oh my! I don't have any idea of this stuffs but this will get me some idea on the basics of robotics. Yes there will be shortcuts that is all around the internet but this kind of class with video for free is rarely available so it's our chance who is connected online to grab this.
